What's new
I need two more myself, I've got one for my HAS but I need one for my RECO and one for my Jammafier.

While i wait for batch 2 to be done, i decided to meanwhile reduce the risk to my HAS supergun and order the pcb's for https://www.arcade-projects.com/for.../arcade-projects-jamma-extension-cables.7041/

In doing so, i ordered the atx cable using the link given by @Frank_fjs. However, I'm unsure about the other parts. Will the following parts work ok:-

1. https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/molex/0039300240/WM21362-ND/930331
2. https://www.digikey.com/product-det...lutions/SBH11-PBPC-D17-RA-BK/S9182-ND/1990075

Not sure about the IDC cable yet. Is that a standard IDE cable that i could order from Amazon?

Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

Bumping this thread back up :!:

@Frank_fjs if you are no longer interested in producing these, please provide the necessary files to place a PCB order from OSH Park so the community can take over.

You have open sourced the extender without kick support, I'm respectfully asking you to sell these or do the same here...
It's been over 6 months, please man we need these!

I'm happy to open source, just want to look into a redesign.

Main point of change is the IDC cable, was hoping to use something easier to order in longer lengths and more pliable. DVI springs to mind, maybe.
Outstanding!

I also live in a small apartment, I got a small bench vice from Home Depot (15$) that c-clamps to the edge of my kitchen table.
Its far more versatile than a IDC crimper, which you know... Only crimps IDC cables. :whistling: ;)

My favorite use for it is bending sheet metal to make custom enclosures or brackets.
Like this one I made for the volume pot of my MK1 PCB...
