Equivalent Ferroelectric Direct Access Memory for 74HCOOA Cmos from ON Semiconductor

Hi!

I would like to know if it is possible to change the CMOS chip 74HCOOA XBXC from ON Semiconductor by Equivalent Ferroelectric Direct Access Memory to no longer have to use CR2032 Battery like on the Sega Saturn ?

Hi,
I'm not sure what you're talking about. First 74HCOOA (with the letter O not zero) isn't something I've ever heard of. Then given the prefix I'd expect some kind of logic chip, not a memory.
Closest ref I know of would be 74HC00 which is the CMOS version of 74LS00 (NAND).

I may have been wrong. it's not the right electronic component for CMOS

I'd say data is saved in the LC35256 RAM @ 5L:

You should be able to replace it with a FM18W08.
