Hello all you wonderful people! In all of my various attempts to educate myself on the arcade scene, this forum continues to appear. I obviously need an account.
I'm afraid I don't have much to experience to offer the community initially - what I do know comes second hand through tutorials. But I have a decent amount of experience installing console mods, making repro carts, and building fight sticks. My hope is that some of those skills may at least be partially transferable. Although a Chicago native, I'm currently in Lexington on a postdoc. Sadly, this means limited space and probably no Blast City till after I've finished moving around. You can imagine how excited I was to learn that SuperGuns are a thing! Ideally, once I get a working on setup, I'd love to start repairing boards and doing phoenix mods as CPS2 games are probably going to be among some of my first purchases.
