Vertical games on horizontal crt

i currently have an horizontal cab and a vertical style cocktail.

I was wondering if vertical style games would work on the horizontal crt. Would game just get smaller to fit ? Can it damage the crt ? Its a 25" (polo hantarex)

Vertical games will work great, you'll just have to turn your head 90 degrees to play!

why not just get yourself another display you can keep vertical, or something you can switch back and forth?!

aaah ok they will change orientation. Guess it would be ok for some games.

that will be for a much later project. For now i can only use my horizontal cab and vertical cocktail. So i was only wondering if vertical games could still works in the horizontal crt. Guess im better with sticking vertical games in the cocktail setup

Vertical games will work great, you'll just have to turn your head 90 degrees to play!

Or wire up as right, left as up, down as left and right as down if screen if flipped 90° clockwise.
If flipped 90° anti clockwise then wire up as left, left as down, down as right and right as up.

guess ill keep my vertical to the cocktail for now.
maybe one day ill get a chance to have a vertical cab but the cocktail still is nice to play
