What's new
For starters, that adaptor has the wrong polarity. You're lucky if you havent fried already your AES and your multi. DON'T Use it again.

Also, that adapter that you bought is providing 0.5 Amps which is not enough.

Make sure that the adapter that you bought corresponds to the one that your console needs (9V or 5V).

As I said, don't use any PSU again until you are confident that your console is working and has the right adapter. I recommend you buying from here: https://en.retrogamesupply.com/collections/neo-geo/products/power-supply-for-snk-neo-geo-aes

If that ac adaptor is too low then i can rules out that i had fried my AES Multi Cart.. will update again when the AC Adaptor comes..

This is the 1 i had purchased.. https://retrogamesupply.com/collections/neo-geo/products/power-supply-for-snk-neo-geo-aes Pow3 though.. hope this can improve my current situation..

but under powered adaptor it's supposed not to power up my setup but why it was on and i saw "no games detected" on Darksoft screen? ?(

I am using scart cable with framemeister btw.. on a 4k tv.. :|

You get those errors if you didn't update to the new menu also.

I reinstalled everything and I do not have this message anymoreBy cons I still sizzle that I did not have before the update.

I specify that with original games, I do not have this problem

that is not normal. Which microsd are you using? Can you try with another one?

It’s a 16gb sandisk
I buy it with the MultiAES;)
I will try with another one but before update there wasn’t this problems.

That power adapter you linked is rated at 500mw which is way too low. You should shoot for 2 amps minimum.

Like this (for original, 3-2, 3-3, or 3-4 revision AES rated for 5V): https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/triad-magnetics/WSX050-4000-R/237-2134-ND/6165629

Or this (for 3-5, 3-6 revision AES rated for 9V): https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/triad-magnetics/WSX090-2500-R/237-2140-ND/6165635
i have 3-4 revision and i'm using the same PSU on pc engine,genesis 1 , av famicom , and of course my Aes console -> 9V / 1600mA. i don't know why....don't work with 5V and 2A.

You can't mix 9V and 5V on the same console. There are consoles that work with 9V and others that work with 5V. If you mix them, you may burn your console and multi.

It's possible that your AES 3-4 board was fitted with a NEO-POWER-0 board in a factory repair, making it require 9 volts. The NEO-POWER-0 board has a large copper coil and a 5-pin LM2576 chip like this:

Later board revisions incorporated the large coil and 5-pin LM2576 onto the main board itself - their presence tells you that 9V is required.

Hi Guys

Received my AES cart at the weekend & have the same issues as citroevo, horizontal lines across the screen, some games are worse than others, my original games don't have this issue.

I've tried multiple SD Cards of varying sizes, all genuine Sandisk Ultra's formatted to Fat32, tried various cluster sizes & no change.

Also cleaned my cartridge slots, re-seated the cartridge multiple times & tried reinstalling the AES firmware & menu a couple of times.

Another thing that also happens is when booting a game I get the Uni-bios screen as usual, the game then boots to the NeoGeo Pro-Gear Spec screen then resets back to the Uni-Bios screen, I then see the NeoGeo Pro-Gear Spec screen again and the game loads. Is this normal? I don't recall seeing this happen on any videos of the Multicart being shown running with a Uni-Bios.

My setup is as follows:

AES 3-4 revision
Uni-Bios 4.0
Triad WSX050-4000-R PSU 5v 4000mA
OSSC
Retrogaming Cables Packapunch CSync Stereo RGB Cable
Neo Geo Roll-Up BETA 3.1 pack

My multi mvs doing the same thing since the last firmware and menu, i don't know if it's a new boot sequence or a bug.

its a new boot sequence. We'll take it back in next update. It doesn't affect anything at all. It's just an extra reset.

@Pharfetchd it's related to the synthesis of the fpga file. Please go back to previous version. We'll release an update soon.

Do I need to go back to a previous Menu version or Firmware? I only received the Cart this weekend so don't have any previous versions downloaded, is there anywhere I can download this?

Thanks
