DARKSOFT AES Multi Cart Troubleshooting and help

The top file version seems to be different than the one I use. Let me check.
 
No idea, I just downloaded the latest ones, from page 1 on the other thread.

Have you got a link that can guarantee me 495?

The first videos shown my issues with FW_966 when I am trying to change the game on slot one.
the rest of the videos showing the last FW and menu loading games and especially game changing issue

Please if you have any suggestion, share it with me
 
Greetings everyone. I have had a Darksoft Neo Geo cartridge for nearly a week, and have just been approved for this site.

I wonder if someone can help me, as I have not been able to set it up properly at all. I have been following the firmware/menu and rom threads, and tried 8 times to set up as advised but every time I am getting 'no games' when booting up.

Is there a specific order to add these in or have I missed a step?

I am unfortunately not very good at all with emulation or rom software, and haven't a clue what to do from this point. It has been quite frustrating, and I would appreciate any extra guidance.

AES Darksoft - bought a card from the store. Used two different ones that are appropriate.

Are you using the Smokemonster roll up pack for the games?

Yes. But I am unsure if I am setting this up appropriately? I have tried to do it exactly as specified, but it does not seem to work. Apologies, I'm not very good with things like this.

Have them at the root of the SD card in 'games' folder, make sure your SD is formatted in fat32.

SD is formatted to fat32. By root to you mean the first folder? I have done this also.

I Could be wrong but seems you have a problem with bank switching on slot 1, I would send it back for testing if I were you.

It s difficult to understand for me, I am wondering if the installation of FW and Menu is done properly
 
@raffy92 I doubt that your cart is faulty and most probably is a problem with your PSU. Maybe I'm wrong, so I'm offering you the option to send it to me so I can have a look. If you are concerned about shipping costs, maybe some user here that is buying anything from Japan, or sending to Europe, could include your cart.

Did you read the instructions?

If you can't set it up after resding them, you can send it to me and I'll have a look.
@BRAKKUS1 the same for you.

I won't be able to have a look until July 19th, so if you send it this week I'll be able to have a look when I receive it.

Yeah I did, and the updates disappeared from the SD card etc, I'll have another look when I get my AES back, as i sent it off for a recap and RGB bypass.

Is there no way you can give me anything that can just update the top file build?

Thank you Darksoft, It is strange sometimes games can be loaded sometimes not. In one of the video I could load Samurai spirit but one week before I could not but blazing star yes.

Thank you by the offer Darksoft. I am not concern by the shipping cost, but more by the time it will take because the international shipping is not restarted yet in Japan even though we can receive stuff from abroad. I have to confirm it first with the post office and maybe consider private shipping method like kuroneko etc...
