Thanks a ton! Again, congrats for the awesome work!
what revision is the b board for your xvsu? -4? I did use it on a mshvsf that didn't have the CN9 header.I couldn't get it to work with XVSU either.
If you remember, what kind of cab and power supply were you using? I was using my New Astro City, I should have tried my other cabs but I got scared that I just killed my friends PL2 and just threw a battery on there to write the keys back!I successfully used this on a Super Turbo with daughterboard, using a PIC12F675.

Please, could you share photos of the mod? I`ll want to take as a referenceI just had trouble doing the modchip with a great mahou board. I successfully used it on a progear deconversion, but I tried twice and couldn't get it to work on this gmd. I was able to resurrect it (without a battery installed). I used an arduino with a usb power supply. So I know the encryption circuit is working and able to be programmed. I also tried using the cps2 suicide tester rom and it did boot up with that and the modchip attached, so definitely not getting programmed by the modchip? I notice when I use arduino as soon as I start the programming command on a board the suicide screen will go black. This never happened with the modchip attached, it always stayed green in this case.
I am using the PIC12F629. I think I'm going to order some of the PIC12F675 and see if it does any different.
I've tried with a 1944 USA and Japan with PIC 12F675 and could not make it work. I tried twice with the same result. Then tried with Ardruino Nano and worked as expected. I could run the Suicide Tester and the Phoenix version with the PIC soldered so seems that it is not inserting keys at all. The same PIC just worked perfect on Alien vs Predator and Progear conversion. Any help here guys? Could be a mistake on the .hex files just for this game? Thanks! So I just retried the mahou board with a pic12f675 and it worked no problem. One thing I did was I changed the way I was soldering the chips to the pins. Instead of doing the tip of the chip leg to the pin I'm pushing it up so that the leg's shoulder is touching the pin. Not sure if this was the difference or using the 675 chip? Either way, happy to say it's now working as expected!
What paint did you used? Looks good, won't shine too much.
looks good, but I thought night warriors was not the JP region name, i.e. green case? shouldn't it be a blue case? I see it's a Brazil rom... so then shouldn't it actually be orange?
Did you know that had a time that they din't care about case colors? My first BR Marvel Super heroes was green, with a paper stick fake label, and below was a Night Warriors orignal label and again was a SFIIX Jap label.looks good, but I thought night warriors was not the JP region name, i.e. green case? shouldn't it be a blue case?
