introduce myself - can someone please give me some sega naomi help

hi - my name is chris (from uk)
and I am looking for some sega naomi help

I have a Naomi 2 gd rom setup - and have recently bought a compact flash reader for it
what im needing is - my normal dim bard updated to 4.02 - and the know how on to create some cf cards for myself
i know there are guys on here with the know how (mitsurugi)
and was wondering how to get in touch with them
as im a new member here - and this is my 1st post on a forum
if anyone can help me - please let me know

but im more interested in compact flash - not raspberry pi - or net booting

so any more info on this would be greatly appreciated

had a read of the forum you mentioned

you need to netboot up to V4.02 firmware - then set jumpers back to gdrom and then you can boot from any CF card provided you know its media ID.

I set the dimm to netboot, dhcp, plugged it into my router, got the ip-address, used transfergame to upgrade to 4.01 and then up to 4.02, cleared the network settings, set jumpers to gdrom and plugged one of Mitsu's CF-Flash adapters in place of my gdrom drive and was sorted....
 
You can go straight to 4.02 when netbooting the update from 3.XX.
