It's the horizontal bar at the back of the frame that holds the cover for the neck.

I wonder if that cover has done more harm than good, because I bet it bounces of heat back to the neck board really well leading to cracked solder joints and failed components.

I removed all of mine and threw them in the trash.

Anyway, that's the one, yeah.

I don't think it will matter in home use, but if you operate the cab you might get some extra life out of the monitor. Or not.
