What's new
Hi, this power supply would be good for a Retroelektronik supergun?

It`s 400w, too much power can fry things?

I advise you a Seasonic S12II 520W, 80 PLUS Bronze $60 ;)

i have a arcade power supply, but i want to simplify things, like using 1 PSU for other things too

what kind of conector could i use in a arcade psu to make a simple plug and play? Tried molex, but maybe the wire gauge was to tiny and started to melt.

I can run 98% of my jamma arcade boards with a 70W arcade PSU.

Like @jassin000 said, computer power supplies are for computers.

You want 18AWG wires for power lines. Depending on the length of the wiring, you might also need multiple wires.

What’s the smallest form factor in an arcade PSU for that gun?

Also how is that retroelektronik?

The price is decent.

Mean-well RT-65A is quite compact. It outputs 6A on the +5V line which is adequate for most boards, but not all.

I dislike Retroelektronik.

How come may I ask?

I agree with you and am in line for HAS for personal.

But I know little about them, and they claim boldly for a low price on ebay.

The price should be lower. :)

Poor design and unsafe audio and video circuits.
