I just bought a Gekirindan F3 board and when I plugged it. I noticed lines at the top of the image.

I'm connecting it through component on the OSSC and am line doubling on a 31 khz monitor.

I've heard people can get this because of odd refresh rates on certain consoles but my setup has displayed PC engine, MVS, Sharp x68000, MSX2+, irem m72, STV, no problem

How would I go about troubleshooting this?

F3 has a bit of a wonky sync signal, I’m surprised you get it to sync at all with the OSSC as I hear quite a few people have issues with it

Ya i have to switch to SOG and back to ypb to get it to show up at all.

I ruled out the board though. It works fine on my LCD directly.

Are settings on OSSC to remedy this?

See if setting H-PLL pre and post coast to 4 makes a difference.

It worked on space invaders but not in other games. it helps it look less wonky but there a 5 line coast limit so I cannot fix it all the way.

The wiki also states to use AV3 but I don't get how to adapt a cable from 8 pin mini din to dsub15.
