Does anyone have this game. I just got one, and the lifebars flash every now and then for no apparent reason. Is this normal operation on a CRT? It certainly doesn't do this with emulation. This is a Yaton special, and there does seem to be a repair on the board, so I'm assuming I'm going to need to find another ZN1.

I have a Tondemo Crisis which I believe has the same bios and main board protection chip if you're ever in NH and want to swing by to try an known working main board.

What kind of flash? Like when a critical hit is done? Or something else entirely?

Its like an actual flicker but just on the life bar, timer and text layer of the graphics.

Fixed this. Resat the two boards and all the socketed chips, and flicker is gone. I've noticed that this game needs the brightness turned down quite a bit more then pretty much anything else I own.
