Naomi gun survivor

thinking about buying the gun for this game. I have the i/o board that was in the namco cabinet if I wanna use this for my nnc could I just plug the connector on the gun into my nnc interface ? Would I fry something if it would fit?

Any idea to set this thing up?

Unfortunately the manual is pretty much useless on this.

Shows an FCA board and a Naomi, without anything else listed, but no sign of how they connect (don't see a USB style cable coming out of the FCA, and no mention of a JVS I/O anywhere).
