What's new
Sorry for the noob question but my 2 USB decoders won't work unless I hold onto 3P when turning it on... would updating the firmware fix this problem? I thought I updated it but I'll try it again. I am connecting my Brooks ps4+ fighting board into them. Thanks
Is it a Brook Ultimate Fight Board? I do recall those not working on one mode (XBONE or PS4, don't recall which). Likely holding 3P puts it in the mode that works. That is on my todo list (getting the other mode to work, too).
It's a Brook PS3/PS4 Fighting board so no XBOX support for that pcb. https://www.focusattack.com/brook-ps3-ps4-fighting-board-ps4-ps3-pc/

Thanks!

I see paradise shop still doesn’t have them. I’d like to grab one direct in that case.

Btw, Undamned would you prefer we ask here or pm you or something else?

Theres some joystick pcbs that are not compatible with the ud-usb, like the chinese “ zero delay” and others. There is some perspective about new firmwares include new pcbs? Theres some way to help it? I always ask some friends to test their sticks and just madcatz , hori and a few Brook’s pcb worked

I've been sitting on a HAS Supergun and a Darksoft CPS2 kit for months with no way to play them. If these USB Adapters are available, or will be soon, could I be put down for two?

just pm undamned to get them. I just got mine in the mail after i sent him a pm.

Just got a Victrix Pro FS. Plugged it into the decoder, i get lights on the stick but no buttons work.

Would the Decoders need a firmware update to work with the Victrix? Or is there a button combo I’m not aware of?

It's on my TODO list, but no ETA. I own a Zero Delay PCB, I just need to make time to focus on it and that's difficult at the moment. Also, I tried to send you PM but you are blocking me?
@undamned no I have not figured it out. It seems the active P1 slot is preventing it from being able to updated.
I'm still unsure of what's going on. The button signals shouldn't affect ability to enter firmware update mode. So, without a joystick plugged in, do the normal control panel controls work (I believe you said these were installed in a cab)?

Possibly. I've never tested with a Victrix. I had a version of firmware close to release a few months back that addressed some PS4 stuff, but never got it out the door. I'll try to get that wrapped up soon and see if that helps you.

@undamned, it`s strange, u were blocked but i didnt have reason to do that , instead everybody wants to talk to you kkk, maybe i hit the button by mistake and didnt realize that. Well, sorry. Besides, what is ``todo`` and ``eta`` ?

@undamned

I just received my two UD-USB Decoders. Thanks!

I do have a weird issue with the button remapping. When I remap the buttons, K2 and K3 are always reversed. On my controller, I press in order what I want to be P1, P2, P3, K1, K2 and K3. But when I hit the K2 button, it registers as K3 (and that same when I hit K3, I’ll get K2)

If I press the remap buttons in this order “P1, P2, P3, K1, K3, K2”, it’ll map the way I want it.

I’ve tried both of the UD-USB Decoders, and 3 arcade sticks with the same result. I’ve also tried firmware v.1.4.c and v.1.3

Any idea what’s wrong?

Thanks,

@Zektor what controller are you using?
-edit-
And more likely culprit, what supergun are you using?

Seems to me it's the supergun mapping. @Zektor if you're using the HAS, then remember that you can remap the button layout.

Just to chime in @yuro so you're not left wondering. I had someone try a Victrix Pro FS on my UD-CPS2 the other day, it did not work either. IIRC I think the UD's green LED light turned on but the stick was unresponsive?

Does the Victrix work on multiple platforms?

You might have to press a button to force it into a specific platform while connecting it to the UD-USB - multi platform sticks will usually have this option
