Bonjour,

Hello,

I received my chamma to jamma adapter thinking it would solve my control problem but not at all I still end up with right up/down starting at the same time, and like 3 out of 6 buttons working (while there does have a kickstarter connected).
This project is super interesting but unfortunately it's a bit disillusioning when it arrives.
Anyone have a solution?

Mine doesn’t work, when I input the controllers go crazy, there’s no way to contact him through Aliexpress website doesn’t function properly.

I just got the same convertor.. does anyone else have issues with running street fighter alpha 3 - bubble bobble 4 and vampire chronicles ?

Those games are all limited to S-video if I recall. The Japanese version of Alpha 3 supports the VGA box and I believe can be forced to 15khz RGB, but don't quote me.

I got one from Aliexpress and like many I had issues with the R triggers being activated constantly. I use a smallcab supergun and found two jumpers that I assume remove GND from pin 27 on both sides of the jamma edge (that wasn't in the manual, I randomly found that, thanks smallcab!). Now the controls work. The PCB is an okay all in one solution, it has integrated VMUs which is nice, but the picture is very dim for me even with the RGB pots maxed out.

Hi, I was crazy on this too until I soldered those pads and the strong kicks started to work flawlessly. The solution given by Wall-Garants is old since the new version with those pads.

Talking about certain games, mainly those named "with matching service", all of them boots with an absurd zoomed resolution. Any idea to load them in the rgb resolution?

Had that issue too. Downloaded the releases from ReviveDC and they work just fine now.

Fellas, JAMMAizer is the way to go for hooking up consoles to an standard resolution cab.

Amazing, I've tested RDC isos and all running nice, thanks!
JAMMAizer seems best solution, but it seems sold out forever. My dream to have PS2 in my NAC cab vanishes...

BTW SF Alpha 3 has issues with the embedded memory card, when you try to save the DC behaves like controller and mc are disconnected, only fixes shutting down the console :(

I made pad hack PCB's that leverage a 2x10 pin cable. It is similar to this cable, but I crimp it myself. Costs pennies. I hack the Mad Catz Dreampad and haven't ran into such an issue. Works out well and it is cheaper than a pair of Brook Retro's. Affords the ability to use a VMU which is what the MC PCB's don't allow. But of course, you can only use it with a Dreamcast. But hey, the Dreampad is nice and cheap if you can still find it. Usually around $15.

Is there a way to make your candy still coin op if you go this route? Im definitely interested in this purchase.

No, you'd need something else that has a timer integrated. I think the MGCD might have a timer, but those haven't been made for a long time.

Random website I found that talks about it: http://hehehe.org/

i get this Dc to Jamma and it work fine with SF3 ,all buttons and direction are correct .
But i don't use a real Japanese Cab ,it is an Arcade1 up moded with Ali Jamma wire 56 pins ,so maybe that is the reason that all works fine ...so if you want to use this converter use their Jamma cable .
