Same to you buddy!Sorry to see you go buddy. Hope everything is okay and you're well. Good luck with the sales and future endeavors man.
It's comingIs there a list of stuff you have for sale I'm missing?
Thanks @kikaso !Sorry to see you go
You’ve always taken great care of your arcade hardware so this is going to be top notch stuff. Good luck!
Thanks @Mirkvid !I sold all my candies and jamma boards a few years ago too, just rocking lcd cabs with consoles and like 2 actual pieces of game hardware. I find I spend a lot more time playing instead of tinkering these days, though I do miss my NAC. Good luck!
@hoagtech thanks for the words of encouragement, but I just don't have the same passion anymore. As someone fairly new to this hobby (3 years) I fully understand your decision and stopped my self for a good year and a half.
It feels great being back into it with a second wind.
I respect your decision but do advise you carefully think about it if your still into CRT tech in general as you may have a longing to be in this hobby later on in your lifetime.
There were times as a kid where I sold my collection to fund my current hobby and I regretted it.
And if its because of the way members here treated you. I would say that's a wrong reason to leave the hobby and better reason to retaliate.
Go out in blaze in glory and take em to the playground first at least and get a couple punches in before you lose the fight.
Thanks @tDRG !Best of luck with everything, Tony.
My $1800 is still out there. During our overlap in the hobby TonyT has helped me achieve any number of things that I was excited to work on and I have trusted him with $ amounts far more than $1800 over the years with good results every time except once. Was @ItsBobDudes made whole tho?![]()
Truth be told, Omar kept Bob’s $1800 & Aero City cab. He was supposed to issue Bob a refund, but gaslighted everyone involved and flew under the radar, and somehow got away with it.My $1800 is still out there. During our overlap in the hobby TonyT has helped me achieve any number of things that I was excited to work on and I have trusted him with $ amounts far more than $1800 over the years with good results every time except once.
Tony made a mistake but he is not the first friend/family/colleague to make a mistake that has cost me monetarily and I am sure he won't be the last.
That's the update.
