This is a thread to get on the wait list for the next batch of the Multi JVS. I will leave this thread open for a month to gauge interest. Afterwords I will do a pre-sale and order the necessary parts. If all goes well I would expect to deliver around December.

Price should be similar to the last batch but I'll be able to confirm once I get an idea of how many we will be producing based on your expressed interest.

Just an update. I'm still waiting for a part to arrive. It's been a month since I ordered. Might need to find a different source.

Got a refund for the first transaction. They ne er shipped the Atmega2560s. Just paid a second supplier. Fingers crossed this time.

Ok. Another update. I have all parts in hand. I'm hoping the Atmega chips are good. I'll know once the first pcb comes off the line. I've also been tooling the pnp machine to do this run. I don't have enough feeders to do the entire pcb 100% via the machine so I am doing all of the very fine parts that require precision and the parts that have many pieces to be set. I'll do the remaining parts by hand. In order to make things go more smoothly I decided to bite the bullet and buy six more 8mm feeders but I've had to get creative.

6 feeders came out to $450. Shipping would have been $35. However after tariffs my total would have been $1350. Therefore I'm engaging in creative shipping. Once they arrive I'll need maybe a day or two to finish tooling the machine and then I can do the pcb run. Sorry this is taking longer than expected but it's part of the learning and growing pains on the machine. The good news is that future projects run on the machine will already have these extra feeders waiting for them.

New update. I received 6 more feeders and peelers but I'm only using 5 of them because I broke a peeler. Oops. Well I've got the machine completely tooled to do this run of MultiJVS. I managed to make it so I ONLY have to hand pick 7 smd parts per unit. Take a look:

And here it is assembled enough to test the Atmega chips I was most worried about.

The USBTinyISP I purchased to write the bootloader to the chips turned out to be faulty but I managed to configure an extra Arduino I had here to run the Arduino as ISP sketch and successfully wrote the bootloader to the Atmega on the test pcb using it. Great! The next step is to connect the MultiJVS to a PC and write the MegaJVS sketch using the Arduino IDE software. Unfortunately the PC told me that the device has malfunctioned and it is not recognized. Additionally the two LEDs next to the usb chip should show activity when you plug in the usb cable. There was no avtivity. After a few hours of trying things I had a hunch. The chip responsible for the usb communication is an FT232RL. I decided to remove the known good chip from my older personal MultiJVS proto and place it on this first test board. Annnnnnd....BINGO! We have activity now and the PC assigns the test pcb a COM Port. I tested 5 more of the chips I ordered and all failed. So the 40 chips I bought from China are fake. Lovely. Anyways I was able to load the sketch and:

So I've already ordered new chips and got a great deal on a partial reel from a USA seller. I feel confident these will be good chips. Now I just need to finish assembly of this test pcb and test all other functionality.
