So I got a replacement network board, but the screws holding it in place are extremely tight and feel welded on, attempting to take this off will most likely lead to the screws just getting stripped so I'm gonna give up on this for now.

Managed to get the game to boot on my flakey laser and thankfully replaced the Dimm battery so atleast the game boots right away now.

Currently having issues updating the firmware. I think my network board is broken.

Can't find much information online about this, but is this true? Don't wanna take it as fact since it's Ai, but it's the only lead I have.

So I had a GDrom drive that kept on failing on me mid load and would usually throw up error 25, so I decided to get a Dreamcast replacement laser since I heard those actually work since their both GDrom drives. Tried to ping the Chihiro through my PC since it's like the only thing I haven't tried yet and just as I thought, still no luck. I tried DragonMinded's tools and it seems like my PC isn't getting anything from the Chihiro at all, at this point I give up and just gonna wait for the replacement...

Do you get the error right away or does it happen mid boot?

Got a crossover cable coming in today and gonna give that a shot when I get time after work. Not really expecting it to work at this point but mineaswell rule it out.

Also when I try and do a network test it stays at 0% not sure if that's a sign or not.

So I pretty much did everything and I'm at a point where I believe the Network board on my chihiro might just be toast. I'll have pictures of everything I have setup and if I did something wrong let me know cause I'm pretty much all out of leads here. My Pi will not ping my Chihiro.

Good news, so I turned off desktop mode on the Pi, and also disabled debug mode then ran Open JVS with real-time priority and that seemed to pretty much fix it, before I'd be Lucky to get halfway through mission 1 and after that I managed to get all the way to mission 6 game over and then let...

Unfortunately it's looking more likely that it might just be a limitation on OpenJVS.
