These boards don't have coin counters from the factory. Do you still want to retrofit one.......?

What color is your board? not all of them have these counters.........

It will be very difficult to locate the fault without specialized equipment. I suggest sending the board to a professional..........

First, get the board working again, it will work even without the diode...........

The board runs even without the diode, hopefully, nothing else is broken...........

yes, its a safety feature. Check the diode first, then we'll see..........

The namco PCB has a protection (zener) diode (D1) which trips at a voltage (5.6V) and short-circuits the PSU. In doing so, it becomes permanently conductive because its through-alloyed. It's located next to the large capacitor C1. Check that out.................

Okay, back to the PCB when I have more time :) The MAME driver actually states: "CN6: Connector for 2nd speaker (for stereo output)" Just tested it, and that is indeed the case. Pin 1 > RA2 pin 4 Pin 2 > GND Pin 3 > TR3 Pin 4 > Audio (unamplified)

I just measured it, it doesn't carry RGB or audio. It likely has something to do with the coin counters.
