Is that green corrosion visible on the Varta or a reflection? Shouldn't the battery be taken out before it leaks?

In my case, I let both sellers know ahead of time when I placed the order that they should check for battery damage / corrosion. I didn't even need to provide a video when I opened the case with AE, just a few photos (which you can see in my one-star review here) and "not as advertised" reason...

Will the retrotink HD15-to-SCART cable work with HAS 5.1 and OSSC or is the HD15-to-HD15 cable a better solution? For that matter, are there any other HD15-to-SCART for OSSC cables that were tested and working?
