Hi everyone,
My Star Wars Trilogy upright came to me with a very flaky monitor- turns out the tube had been (just barely!) necked.
I don't believe this was original to the machine.
The tube was a Toshiba and had a 100V sticker on it.
I am still new to working on monitor chassis and not familiar...
There's a gent who has posted a lengthy detailed thread elsewhere documenting conversion of a pair of linked Rush2049s at least- and those work nicely.
I hope to be working on mine before the year is out.
That's outstanding!
I replied to your message before I saw this post.
Nice machine.
On top of all the other MVS fun in my life recently I got Evie's Platinum cart but haven't had a moment to put it in my cabinet yet.
Time to clean up the arcade portion of the workshop!
Aloha,
Bobby
Hey there!
Stumbled onto your work while looking for marquee ideas for my scratch built 4 slot upright cabinet.
Any progress on sorting your design?
I'd be stoked to buy parts to build up if I can be of any use in testing something.
Hope you are continuing with this project!
I posted in the interest thread also but at risk of being accounted for in too many places (but not wanting to miss out on a place in line!) may I be added to any current preorder list here?
My 4 slot MVS would be even more fun!
Excited to hear that maybe I haven't missed out and that there might be another batch of these made.
Absolutely in for one for my 4 slot if it happens so thanks for considering another run!
