Hey, this is the culmination of my work into building a halfway decent home arcade with good materials, and I think i'm ready to start shipping at least in my prototype/beta testing phase. It would be cool even if you could just take a look at my etsy page for more details...
Has anyone tried replacing the F0095H's with new flash chips? This is the in production successor to the flash chip it's based on - https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Micron/MT28EW01GABA1HJS-0SIT-TR?qs=j%252B1pi9TdxUZnollz4AWVbA%3D%3D
Questions: For my cartridge where my prom is one large stilt chip, how can i combine the 3 files into 1?
Also, why hasn't anyone tried updating the flash chips over JTAG boundary scan? (besides the 2-3 day long wait times for 1gb) I'm going to try it that way with a few games as a test
Congratulation!
Instead of reprogramming the stilt chips, you could also use a 1gb sized flash chip like this one. If you just change the OE pins in CPLD slightly and create an adaptor PCB for a 56 pin TSOP https://mm.digikey.com/Volume0/opasdata/d220001/medias/docus/2280/MT28EWzzzABA1.pdf
I build arcade cabinets. The StarBound is my newest design, based off the Vewlix obv.

Shiny laminate board atop plywood construction, 32 inch screen, 4 speakers, space for an acryllic display (that i didn't install lol)...
Congratulations on accomplishing what I could not. :D:D
Another possible approach for reprogramming the flash chips is to use JTAG, which may be hard with such an old CPLD chip (the version of Quartus that supports this chip runs on XP :|)
With the "Stilt Chips" being as weird as they are, a...
Trying to launch, but I get the error message "Could not open COM port: Error 5"
I have the JVS serial plugged in COM2, all the connections are solid, but there's also a slim chance it actually boots. I also just updated to 4.7.2 if that impacts anything
I'm selling modchipped RGH Xbox 360's, If people are interested I can make more. They boot into Aurora which lets you boot backup games region free. I'm listing what I have ready to sell and ready to mod if you really want that particular model, I'll be updating my inventory with what I have for...

The Naomi has a second JVS port (usb port) covered up by a plastic lip. Is there a reason it's hidden like this? Can the Naomi run 2 JVS boards at the same time? Or is this just some design quirk and the second USB port doesn't actually do anything.
