Oh sorry about that, I'll turn them back on if you still want to send them me. :) It's because I'm not used to people sending me DM's ever so I turned them off. xD
Don't suppose you could give me any hints as to where to have a cheeky look in the right direction? :D
EDIT: I wrote myself a guide to doing it on psx place:

All you need is an SD Card to put TvC's wad onto and to press and hold both the SEL and SET buttons before powering it on, and it'll install TvC onto the system. I did this myself and it all works great!
Although just in case, I ran the RVADumper beforehand to have a clean nand dump in case I...
Yeah the same exact thing has started to happen to me again. I swear Supers can suddenly become very temperamental, using it any playing as normal now its back to hanging on the black screen. Yet boots fine to the exception screen with no drive plugged in. Gonna have to swap IDE cables around...
Update on my Super 256. I successfully removed the L1 bridge and replaced it with a proper 47uH inductor, except I used a through-hole inductor as I'm not too good at micro soldering in tight spots. Added in the 10uF, 16v Capacitor and voila. No more jailbars, a clean video signal. I advise...
I had this pop up when testing my Super when I had forgot to plug the HDD in, could also be a dead HDD or IDE cable maybe? I know for a fact a dodgy IDE cable can screw with it booting as I had to replace the cable my Super came with since it was just black screening after booting the dongle.
Could these cause jailbars in the video signal to show up in a Super 256 if their faulty? I seem to have them in my replacement Super board, they become way more apparent when I use Line4x on my OSSC, I'm gonna be dissasembling the system again and I'm gonna give the board a good look over as...
They sent me a replacement board instead to replace it, works fine but there seems to be some interference in the video signal, I've got wavy vertical lines scrolling through the image. But at this point I'll take a working one over a dead one.
