Here I’m attaching more close ups… I think I found some corrosion…

It flashes like this then the screen goes black...

So I tried some deoxit and the screen is no longer black but I get some pink garbled graphics... Maybe I didn't let the deoxit dry enough. Any suggestions?

Also, at some point after boot there are some random graphics.

I think I made some progress. I reseated the cart and the scisd thing lights up briefly. But nothing yet. Video here.

Yeah, humidity might have played a part, but all of my other boards are working fine... maybe it's not the best sign of damage, though.

Also, how should I clean the cart slot and/or the cart? A qtip? Do I need to put anything in it?

Okay, I'll get back home and try cleaning the cart and I'll let you know.
