Excellent. I'll report back when after my order comes in and I try this. Thanks for your help.
What do you mean by attenuated? The official instructions do call for a 180ohms resistor in the scart line. Is that just if I was directly connecting to a scart source like a European TV? I'm not...
Could you explain the pin out to me?
I know VGA uses H sync and V sync.

Would I be able to just do this?
VGA stripped endBetsubetsu - screw terminal
Pin 10 - GNDPin 4 - GND
Pin 9 - +5V
Pin 5 - +5v
Pin 13 - Hor sync
Pin 3 -...
Thanks for the link. Added myself to notification list.
Yeah I saw the adapter but it might not be needed.
Honestly is it possible to just hack apart a vga cable and connect that to the screw terminals? I don't mind if its not neat and flush. Its all going to be hidden behind the cabs anyway...
Hey thanks for making these!
Just ordered 4. I noticed it uses an 8 pin mini din. I'd like to set this up with a VGA switcher via an extron to vga on OSSC. Are there any ready made cables I can order? If not what can I do to make my own cables? Most mini din to vga cables I found do not match...
Thanks for the replies especially the heads up on blowing a resistor. Apologies on the late reply. I think my best course of action is going to be to get an 001 jamma harness for the blast. Lemony vengeance told me he could make me one and ship it. For right now I'm just getting away with pc...
The wiki link i shared shows two pins in the connector are for L and R ground. Wouldn't that just be the negative ends of the rca connectors?
So if I'm getting this right can I just crimp the ends of the rca wires and insert them into the CN5 connector, disconnected from the I/O board first...
Is there an issue with running both at the same time? Not like the audio on my jamma would get any use through the jpac or Mistercade anyway.
Do I need the crimper to close up the CN5 connector again or just to get the pins on the stripped rca ends?
What kind of crimper do I need?
Hi can anyone explain how to connect rca plugs to the CN5 connector on a blast city I/O board? My harness did not come with them and if I can add this myself I'd rather not have to buy a whole new harness.
This forum post describes exactly what I want to do. I just don't know how to safely take...
