Don't know why but i had the same issue as you. I use the wipi several times in the past and never had this issue, but this time with 3 rasp i had this issue....redid the sd card several times with no avail... Then i get the 8gb image and that one worked... So i then use the normal (bigger)...

I'm finalizing everything and i already attach my twin machine to one rasp with wipi in server mode. Everything is ok but i'm thinking about the card reader question in this case.... Does one raspberry alone be able to manage two card readers (for the left and for the right side of the twin)? Or...

Hi I’m having a problem with the es3 in my pod sometimes it reset itself, so i opened it up clean everything change thermal paste in the cpu and gpu also changed the cr2032 battery this lead to a black screen…. then i see that maybe i need to reset the cmos using the pins so i move some pins...
