I've just got a cps2 kit to install for a friend, he has been sitting on this new from the very first batch.
The LCD doesn't work properly the text is not bright white but ghosted as per the pic below.
I have ensured it is seated properly both ends, if I unplug and plug back in whilst live I get...
I guess if they the initial batch is less than 500 units it will sell out quick ;) That's a lot of cash up front for production and time to produce/test...
Pls can I ask how/if soft dip settings can be saved/adjusted using the cart?
Looking forward to the preorder, thanks for all the effort =]
I think its a shame that develpment if cool toys such as this is so fragmented, if knowledgable people got together the end product could be better overall? Rushing to be the first in this case certainly looks flawed, both the software menu and hardware design loading times, single game, look...
I destroyed a football game a while back to make a z80 test cart - still got the clear shell & would like to use it...
The CPS2 multi had issues with installation - my question is will it fit in a MVS shell due to component height/placement?
Of course I already checked the PCB p0rn pics ;)...
Is the mechanical design finished for the carts?
It was mentioned previously that the kit would come with a shell - is this correct?
Would it be possible to use a donor shell or does the PCB design not allow for that?
Looking forward to some more info/pics ;)
If the cart case is transparent it might be easy to mount the display inside the cart onto the 2nd PCB where isn't populated?
Dunno if this would be on the correct side to see it tho... might be more practical for the AES version anyway
I would like to buy five carts - one for myself and the others for friends that don't participate on forums.
Is this going to be a problem? I'd like to make it clear I'm not a reseller/flipper
