Its more of a prototype for me. I'd like build another, but use ribbon cable instead since my wiring looks like trash. Photo with my Brazilian frankenstein SFA3 just to show updated video output with the new firmware for the digital av.
Thanks! Standby for internal pics, currently updating the cps2 digital AV board. Marqs just released a new firmware that finally incorporates an on screen display and scan lines!
Finished this a few months ago, I know it's been done before, but still having a blast with this system. I used Marq's CPS 2 Digital AV board for video and sound output, and @undamned USB to Jamma converters for the controls. Powered by a pico PSU.
My issue is that Quartus doesn't show the USB blaster hardware in the drop-down as an option. Windows device manager shows it installed and working with Altera's drivers. Just can't select it in the software.
Ill give it try, I don't get any errors or indication from windows that the driver is not signed. No yellow exclamation point or warnings about the driver signature not hashing properly. I will uninstall the drivers and try this when get home from work. I googled for three hours trying all sorts...
I wonder how the guy from China figured this issue out or if he just copied someone's work around? I picked one of his multis up out of curiosity. Its good, but the CPS changer SFZ is all wonky since the JAMMA pinout is way different from the CPS1. On this board the C board connectors for the...
I didn't have any issues with the install but am having a hell of time trying to get my USB blaster (clone) to work with Quartus. Anyone have any tips to get it show up in the programmer screen? I followed all the guides/forums for installing the drivers and Quartus but still can't get that...
Just want to say, Wow! Got my kit this afternoon, assembled and running without a hitch in less than an hour. Super happy with this project. Can't wait to see how the CPS1 project turns out. Top notch @Darksoft and everyone who helped develop and test this amazing kit. Thank you for the super...
I picked up the same Plexi kits last week. Top notch. I got bored and pieced together a SuperGun over the weekend. Next is working on getting my STV boards working.
