So if you have something to fill up the gaps, the problem would be solved right? Then you would need: 4x corner (L-shape) "blocks" 4x bottom blocks (to push the screen to the front/glass)

Can you remove the matte black "frames or bezels" from the original monitor? (so you can mount it on the new monitor)

I also want to replace the stock screen with a new 1080p or 4k screen eventually at some time in future. But I can't find any good threads/info on the internet (with an original Vewlix), are my Google skills too bad, has nobody done this before or nobody wants to share experience? xD

Stock fans are indeed 24v. Maybe your 12v fan gives a RPM below a certain treshold and therefore you get the alert message.

I contacted Taito for this and for those wondering what Error 001 means: "Error 001 appears when air blower in the monitor stops." As in my case the error message popups randomly and flashing, I guess either the fan is dying or the cable is loose. Will have to check it.

I did not plan to sell it, it was a personal project and because it takes a LOT of time and material, would be too expensive. But on request, if someone has the budget, it is possible to sell a flat package or so.
