Here in Europe we have to step dow from 2x0 to 100 for obvious reasons. I would definitely be on spec whenever possible, even having some tolerances.

Have you checked if the image is actually good? This is the CRC of the one i'm succesfully using: WiPi6-1-4.img BBB5FBDD (CRC32)

These naomi/atx adapters are really straightforward to do. I would actually encourage you to get decent crimping tools and do the cabling yourself if you had time.

Wattage is not a problem, really. PSUs will use its output on demand so it's fine to have leverage. Imho you normally want first and foremost the most efficient PSU as possible (platinum/gold...) with the most wattage you find affordable.

You should look around for someone with a CRT tube rejuvenator. With this device you can assess the state and life of the tube and optionally try to balance and recover some of its former glory if the culprit is cathode poisoning.

Today i lifted a pad to isolate the clock line from DL-1727 to DL-1525 then tried to feed DL-1525 with the direct 16MHz clock from the A board. I got a glitchy screen with some bars when using the encrypted romset and pushing the key with an arduino. Still red screen when using Razoola's test...

Updade: i just realized i had a problem with the jamma harness i'm using for the testing setup and the color i've been geting is a dark/brownish red. I desoldered and put a socket on the H10 PAL. Burned a new gal on it but it didn't help.

I bet it should work as is, you should have a problem elsewhere with the speaker/amp/cabling

I was able to get a working B board with no battery and was able to try it myself. The minimum to show the menu and see past the fixed color screens is the debug rom and a gfx rom, no gal even needed. Tried both Razoola's and mad suicide-generic roms

What is the minimal set of roms to run Razoola's 'suicide-test-v2', should the board boot with only that rom and maybe the Gal?
