    Irken (MiSTer) JAMMA Expander

New limited batch in the works! Who knows which FPGA gaming solutions will actually ship, or when, or how they will turn out - with MiSTer you know what you're getting. I too was tricked into thinking something was pretty imminent about a year ago, so I didn't make more expanders - but as...

    Use Atoimiswave in NUC

Goddamnit, FedEx did it again - don't want to hijack this thread, but shipping to France is usually 18 Euro.. Have to close the webstore until this is sorted :(

    Retro Scaler A1

Tekken 3 has fooled me more than once with the scaler :) You need to set it up to progressive scan, and also set the red/green/blue levels. Mine is often washed out white until I adjust it when I haven't been using it for some time.

Power Irken labs scaler via jamma

Yup, should work fine. You can get male breakout boards for micro usb to make things easier. There is also a 'hidden' solution - on the PCB you can solder a connector for power, I don't have the schematics here but I think it's jst-xh.

    An improved JVS-PAC (JVS-PAC 2)

@wereoffs I know... :( I probably should do a 'basic' version first just to get it out, then work out all the trackball/cab linking/analog/4player stuff later.

    An improved JVS-PAC (JVS-PAC 2)

Hard errors are a lot easier to trouble-shoot than intermittent or seemingly non-deterministic ones. I think discussion about one particular unit is of limited interest to the general public, send me an email and I'm sure we can figure out a solution..

    An improved JVS-PAC (JVS-PAC 2)

It's likely not something trivial - RS485 is powered by 5V on both sides, this supply partly dictates how the RS485 wave patterns will look. For the Jammafier, this is the same power as the IO board (in most cases). For the JVS-PAC, USB power comes into play. It could also possibly be...

    An improved JVS-PAC (JVS-PAC 2)

If the OLED prints No IO, retry x - it's most likely a physical issue, especially if it's for a known IO board. Physical can mean power, cables, RS485 transmission etc.

    An improved JVS-PAC (JVS-PAC 2)

The string is just a 'fun' feature - the JVS-PAC 2 will function correctly if it says "unknown IO OK". Shoot me an email and we'll take it from there.
