Yep looks like it likely started out originally as a Japanese version with de-suicided us version program roms added later on.

yes, the behavior is the same on both motherboards. And testing with a regular MVS cart, I don't receive the graphic glitches on either motherboard

I'm having some trouble with my MVS Multi. Previously it had been working perfectly fine for years. Unfortunately now I am experiencing graphics issues. I've tried testing it with a friend's MVS motherboard, and I experience the same behavior. I tried cleaning the cart and the motherboard...
