Thanks so much! It definitely was short and had errors at the end so I'll go and get a bigger drive to extract on to before writing the .img file. I don't have any drive larger than 1TB at the moment. Also thanks LOL I forgot extract was the more common term for unzipping/uncompressing files...

Full format went successfully.. Still getting the error message "Can not set length for output file: there is not enough disk space" but seems like it's still working to uncompress the file. Going to just leave it see what happens despite the error message

I am in the wrong here. After testing the archive through 7zip, I noticed that the img file size is exactly 931 GB. I think I need to properly format (not quick format) my 1TB drive to make sure I have absolutely all the space I can get so that 7zip doesnt give me the "Not enough space on disk"...
