Just a little update. I managed to recieve the card reader in the mail. It smells a bit more musty than usual but seems to be in good condition overall. Not sure if anyone knows what i would need to connect this to the system. But if you do I'd appreciate any knowledge you could share!

So i need to find a 9 pin adapter and wire it to the 6 pin connector then? What is the name of the parts that i need to make the adapter? If you were to make an adapter what would the turn around time for that be?

Thanks for the info. Just got the 6 pin connector in the mail but it doesn't look like your set up. I don't have much wiring experience, but I know someone with experience with automotive electrical wiring. Can we just cut the wires i need and splice them together directly?
