And for the people who are still hesitant. Here's a comparison shot between an "original" (that's still in pretty good shape) and the new "original". Pretty spot on if you ask me.

Hi everyone. I got a mod bios EPROM from fleabay (incl. the original bios). I threw the mod bios on the socket, bridged jp1, removed any cf card and fired up the cab. I don't get greeted by any update screen. I just see four vertical color bars and that's it. Any hints on what I am doing wrong...
