    A Freeware Taito TypeX Multigame

Just an FYI, without the TTX gpu bios, games will actually run worse on alternative spec graphics cards. Raiden IV chugged on a 9600Pro 256 compared to the 9600SE.

Just found out about IGS PGM, lots of questions

Think you are gettign down into cultural differences now. That and diminishing returns... If you aren't going full arcade monitor/chassis route, then there will be some compromises. This is one of them.

Just found out about IGS PGM, lots of questions

Without built in adjustments that’s the best image you’re going to see. Again, these boards are designed for an arcade cabinet that generally offer full control of imagine sizing and positioning. Hence no real need to have everything perfectly aligned. As to the video, it’s probably one guy or...

    Positive Feedback: PinballArcadeDruid

Adding in here too, purchased a Seibu Battle Balls from @PinballArcadeDruid and received essentially a NOS kit in full. Well packaged and great communication. Much appreciated!

Just found out about IGS PGM, lots of questions

If you aren’t looking to upscale the image (I.e. OSSC to HDMI), then yes, just the MD2 scart to a CRT TV is needed. However, the those settings were to compensate for the PGM outputting a wired sync signal. On an arcade chassis, you can compensate quite a lot with the adjustment pots. On your...

Just found out about IGS PGM, lots of questions

The google overview was a rundown of adjustments to make the PGM play nicely with an OSSC upscaler. RetroGamingCables have been my go-to for properly constructed scart cables. Of course you need to trust that the MD2 video output is to standard, but you can at least rule out badly constructed...

Just found out about IGS PGM, lots of questions

Well… it has things in the end for sure. There are probably some OSSC settings to test out as the PGM has sync issues at the best of times.. Google overview

Just found out about IGS PGM, lots of questions

@Snowflake are you able to open the scart cable up and see what components are inside the scart housing? MD2 cables are not passive, as in they should contain some additional capacitors/resistors. Some cheap cables omit these components. They may also be wired for composite video rather than...

Which seller are you looking at? These sort of things get made in batches, photographed and sold. Read the descriptions, select appropriate options and you should get something close. They aren’t going to wait around with actual item photos etc. Just how it is.

Just found out about IGS PGM, lots of questions

Check out Tim’s site igspgm.com Here are some motherboards Top left there is a code IGS PCB-01XX-<Rev>-CP. Of course you can’t see without removing the shroud, so… ask. The reason the revision is important is that early revisions have single wipe cartridge connectors, replaced by dual wipe...
