The game contains code to display two types of hint when losing a game. - Generic hints - Special moves about the character you lost with (3 of it) The code was disabled in the final release of the game by returning immediately in the pick/draw hint functions.

Should not be different from the kinst machine. Sound roms are unchanged, still bank switching. The MAME modification implements the bank switching and the hardware switcher driven by an IDE command.

Launch it with the following parameters mame-windows-x64.exe kinstmulti -skip_gameinfo it should work, i'll add the CRC values to the binary to avoid that message and republish

I totally forgot the sound section of the board has its rom most significant bit tied to ground ... I have tried to deduplicate data (some sounds in KI2 were reused from KI1) but it won't fit in 512K roms.

I have been working hard on this project this week and a full software mod might be possible, i may have found a way to combine the sounds ROMs and remap it, stay tuned.

I have made available patched roms to be able to run either games on either boards thus you can do the mod on whatever board you have available.
