Check/Change the electrolyte capacitors. On my 1B some of them died e.g. the AC11 was blown up and rusty.

In last years the Amiga platform gets many good new developed Arcade ports. The developer JOTD was very active. Ports for Pooyan, Galaga, Phoenix, Tetris, Xevious etc. are available. An overview is here on itch.io

I played Altered Beast on my Amiga back in the days. It was not really my all time favorite... ;) I loved Golden Axe but it was also not really perfect on this machine.
