Dang that's too bad, would have been great. Lazily been on the hunt as I really liked the ones you had, but either $$$ shipped or custom made which is crazily also $$$.
That setup gave me no end of frustration to keep running lol. For me I tried that as well but it would always come back even with different PSUs/adjustments.
Best of luck @jbean3535 , I hope you nail it down!
I had this same issue when I was running ID3 a long time ago on only the left side, and I never figured it out. Completely replacing the card reader harness helped for a bit, but then the looping became intermittent so did not always happen, and always the same cabinet not the reader as you...
Ah I see interesting, mine was far enough away other than where it connects so maybe not the same issue you experienced. Maybe some interference but can't say i've run into that before.
Finally wrote my drive and tested a bit. Thank you @drfunk2k for sharing!
None of the emulated stuff worked for me with dip switch 2 ON like I normally have, gave the out of range on monitor. 2 OFF worked with the multi menu not sized properly but I could see the emulated games full screen...
@Murray thank you for the explanation! The new battery didn't fix it and the board is receiving power after checking pins so it's some hardware issue in retaining bios settings that is beyond me.
Oddly enough when I take out and replace battery then redo the bios and successfully boot it...
Hey guys, the random reboot was solved by hooking up my JVS IO from the cabinet. It no longer reboots, however everytime I shutdown the computer it will not boot again without removing the cmos battery.
I'm booting a yoko image, original game drive was removed but have the dongle so cannot try...
Tried to write base image on a kingston ssd that had previously worked on x2 till it didn't. Still doesn't lol, so waiting for deliveryman to bring me a new PNY so I can try this out and report back.
