Once this is implemented will it enable audio on game intro's when the AES is in MVS mode? it's currently silent but i'm sure I've read that the MVS relies on this for games to function correctly.
I'm using an original Sandisk Ultra 16gb Class 10 card, never had this issue with previous updates. I played around an hour tonight though and it hasn't done it this time, odd.
I'm using Unibios 4.0, i've attached some images of the errors/glitches.
Finally had a chance to try the latest update & menu, I still had to replace the TOP file with the earlier version but everything seems stable in regards to no graphical glitches or crashes when writing to the slots.
I do have a slight issue when usually booting the cart for the first time...
Yes, newest CPLD & flash.img combined with the TOP file from the previous firmware.
The model I have is an AES 3-4 revision with Uni-Bios 4.0 & a Triad WSX050-4000-R PSU 5v 4000mA
The root of your SD Card should look like this
The update folder should look like this
And the menu folder within the update folder should have these files
That should update your cart & menu, if that doesn't work then I don't know what else to suggest.
If it's set to English correctly it should have the english title screen, english text on the intro, english for the two fighting styles of power & speed as well as english win quotes.
The only Japanese text I can recall seeing on The Last Blade 2 is on the versus screen before a fight with the...
Sorry, i'd mis-read your original post, I thought you meant it was set to Japanese but showing the English version after the warning screen, in that case you shouldn't be getting the warning if it's set to Europe or USA, very odd.
Glad to hear that sorted out the line issues
Certain titles on original carts will display the Japan Only warning screen when using a Japanese AES or a bios set to Japan region, iirc Samurai Shodown & FF Special are 2 of them.
I tried setting the region to Japan AES via the Cart...
Not sure about the region issue as I tend to leave mine set to Euro AES 99% of the time & just use the unibios or softdips to add any censored content.
The only time I switch regions is with Matrimelee so I get the Japanese soundtrack, I tend to do that with the unibios out of habit but I can...
I replaced the top file from the latest firmware with the one from 20181127_r989_AES, that fixed my problem with the lines.
Unless Darksoft confirms it's fine to downgrade the top file then obviously do it at your own risk, I haven't noticed any issues though.
Just reading one of your earlier posts, correct me if i'm wrong as I may be reading this incorrectly but you're putting cpld, flash.img & top inside the MENU folder & crom0, m1rom, prom, srom & vroma0 inside the update folder?
