Thx again guys!
Not gonna lie, I am procrastinating big time on removing the original monitor from the E3 frame... With the E3/AWSD cabs having such an exposed neck, I worry about necking the tube for sure!
Modest burn aside, the monitor is still quite nice, so I def want to keep it and maybe...
So the existing monitor in my E3 has burn and I am looking to replace it with a NOS Tosh PF that I recently acquired...
Looking at the existing monitor, it's not really on a frame at all, but two separate metal bars with the chassis on a shelf attached to the cab.
Looks like a new monitor will...
Thanks BuddyC!
It's a Matsushita tube. Bummer it's not a Tosh tube, but still stoked to have a few NOS monitors! Curious how this tube/chassis stacks up to the Sanwa PFX...
Frame marked "SB" as well... What does it mean!?!?!? :P
Chassis
I picked up a few NOS Toshiba D29C456 "SB" monitors from Zax and was wondering if anyone had details around these?
Supposedly these are tri-syncs and the first box I opened does indeed have a PE0493 chassis.
From Zax listing;
*BRAND NEW IN BOX* Namco: (598-365)
29" FLAT CRT Trisync...
Heya Hamster... Not sure about IDE->SATA, but IDE->CF is easy.
You can actually netboot the updated FW to the Chihiro3 and don't even need a zerokey

I have replaced all 3 of my Chihiro3 GD-rom drives with CF.
