FS FS: Arcana Heart, Dimahoo conversion, NAOMI1, GVG Next HDD's + Dongles

NAOMI is sold pending payment. I am definitely willing to work with the price on the dimahoo B, I'm just a little out of touch on pricing CPS2 stuff nowadays :)

    CPS3 Repro Cart & ZuluSCSI

I have no idea how the CPS3 responds to additional devices in a SCSI chain, right now with CD1 and CD3 dot iso, the log shows it acting as 2 drives. I would remove CD3.iso and turn on the debug dip on the PCB, and retry. Re-reading your last post though getting a working CD copy might be ideal...

Seeing as China is king of relabelling and counterfeiting ICs themselves in the first place, this truly doesn't surprise me. Contextually my wager is leaked/stolen gerber files, and deadstock or brokered IC's as necessary. This all reminds me in the strangest way of building my Apple-1 replica...

The above discussed visible artifacts of the open areas of the multi layer circuit board are a good place to start, immediately evident from the solder masking.

Not a great country to live in to do that, just saying. I worked in web hosting abuse for over a decade, partly processing incoming legal demands and subpoenas. I have seen preliminary injunctions issued by US Courts that completely freeze the counterfeit goods sellers bank accounts, all titled...

One other random vent that kills me is missing datasheets, for example the RGB DAC on the system12 iirc had its datasheet destroyed by the company that took over the IP.

I'd concur, just something I had not thought about from this perspective / yet.

Very very nice!! I would love tackling something like that. I wonder at what point reproing certain 80's boards, especially the bootlegs or using their methods / parts to avoid customs, will be more viable than sourcing them. Like, I've built an entire Apple-1 clone, and other than a couple...

FWIW Not sure if technically they are vias or not, but it's a pattern I recognize from multi-layer PCBs regardless. If you see that patterning on a board of the era, it's essentially a guarantee it's more than a 2 layer board.
