Looking for an original Virtua Fighter 2 topper for my original VF2 cab if anybody has one.

It did look pretty simple in terms of contacts and how it attaches to the console. Also cool to see another someone from “back home” - I’m from the Outaouais and did a lot of projects in Montreal (they were in French though).

Haha true. I made a video about it about an hour or two, it was actually pretty easy to open, though it still felt like a loose screw. Going inside nothing seemed hugely apparent to me. I mean, I guess it could have been the spring but it just feels like a loose screw. Could not see where that...

It does have two latches that cause it to open up. I haven’t opened it up yet as I find the manual isn’t the clearest and wanted to know more about what I should be poking around for before I opened too much.
