I apologize for not giving the proper context. It was indeed running great (tekken 5.0) then out of nowhere just stopped. Tried every option so far except swapping a motherboard. You bring up a good point though. I am hearing no post beeps.
Yes 256. Jumper is on 256 as well. Waiting long for a boot. I don't even see the power to the DVD rom unless I unplug the ide. That's what makes me think it's possibly the motherboard.
Any idea why it would not boot? Changed out power, dvd rom, checked i/o...out of options at this point. There's power to the DVD. Because if I unplug the ide cable. I can eject disc. Is the motherboard toast? Thanks
Just a quick question regarding this game. I've seen one on ebay and the seller has said this only works on Japanese software. So do I need some special software for this to run besides the dongle and cd? Thanks
Its in the tekken 5 original namco cab. So yeah both ps2 ports controllers work. But for some reason only player 2 works on the control panel. It's very weird. I even tried jumping the ground from player 2 to player 1 and still not working. I guess next step is to undo all the clips, trace the...
I was able to switch out the i/0 and see if that was the problem. Still player 1 won't start. Jamma is fine. Everything connected proper. I hooked up a ps controller and that starts player 1 no problem. Have no idea what to try next. Possible jamma problem?
I jus tried on another system and it read it right away. Gave me 2 quick errors 13 and when I tried again it said 23. So maybe the simms or the image. Getting there lol. At least I know my other board needs some work to fix the scsi
