As for the CPU in the case, can see for sure 5 caps that are bulged. Here are some pic... also the other board and pedal set.

No way to re-install them... or have to send to NAMCO (SOS repair). If that is the case then I have boards and a case for sale.

Thanks... did finally get the video to display. Sorry, not familiar with the term VRM?? Guessing the video card does work now that I can see that it failed to load.

Well the main board definitely has some bulged caps, but I did get it to finally show up on a monitor... see pic. Tried a few times to see if any change. This is all I get.

No. Saskatchewan.. it was sitting outside for a while... a few rain storms, boards looked good so I grabbed them.

I salvaged some components from a machine... I know nothing about the boards external of the main cpu. The main cpu powers up. Seems to boot up... but no video..

I guess I will look into mine. I have to wear ear plugs to tone it down a bit. Probably doesn't help that yhe machine is in a smaller area. Thanks for the insight.

UPDATE. So I got in touch with Joe at Bandai-Namco America, appears that my pod is not from the N.A region(according to S/N), and therefore the "Dongle" they sold me will not work. Good news is there is still a chance. In the mean time I am playing mame games on it.

Yeah. The error I get is with or without the dongle.plugged in. It's like it doesn't see it. I am trying all ports 1 by 1 at the moment. I have tested all with a mouse and they all.see that so pretty sure the ports are ok.

Hey there. I am new at this. I just picked up a ES3,(Japan version mach storm) and do not have a "working" dongle. Just received a dongle from BNAA and it does not work. Is there a way to bypass the need for the dongle. Or can you elaborate on how to make a USB boot drive. Any info is...
