its the 5v smd version. i think the dil was designed as a direct replacement for big crystals like whats inside the megadrive. They both work the same i think apart from that.... these provide 2 frequency outputs which can be switched by the So pad, 5v for 1 frequency and 0v for the second...

great project, are the snes/sega to neo geo adapters available for sale? also will the sega adapters work with krikzz wireless controllers? i recently got a snes strike from arcade forge , which didnt work on arrival.....

if it works ok in crazy taxi , then you just need to re-pin the same connections from the wheel to player 2 up + down on the S-JIHP which should be pins 24 + 26 of the i/o board.

on sega i/o type 1 and 3 the up down shifter is wired to pins: 24 - shift up 26 - shift down this is for naomi initial d 1,2,3 + chihiro outrun 2 and or2 sp + lindbergh initial d series + ringedge initial d series pins 24 and 26 according to andy geezers website is player 2 up and player 2...

are you using the correct device id for the compact flash card? or is this completely different for oem cf readers?
