Yeah it’s not a bootleg where they use compatible parts to reproduce custom hardware like a traditional bootleg From what I’ve seen the PCBs on the reproductions are very well made and at least on par with original too

No it will work with legit PCBs. But due to the cost of originals, the risk of potential damage and the fact a bootleg exists so an original doesn’t need to be sacrificed the bootleg is recommended

I recently repaired a 4 slot and installed a UniBIOS 4.0 and got the exact same error on boot I replaced the UniBIOS IC and it worked after that and thought it might have been dirty pins causing bad contact. Good to know this is a known issue on multi slot boards. I’ll send the owner a 3.2
