Do you mean the file "USB2DB15-Adapter-schematic.pdf"? In that drawing there are no Arduino-USB Host connections, in fact the USB Host shield is missing.

Are these really NOS? If so, why there aren't security seals? And a plain PP bag for storage? I would think Capcom would use at least an antistatic bag.

If "good authority" is MKL reply on an AO thread, I can counter with an old post/blog from uncletom. He seems to have successfully (?) mated Nanao Yokes with Videocolor/Philips tubes. The tube (a68esf002x111) is from a 50Hz TV set, so not an option.

@nem: Have you ever tried to swap a Nanao yoke on a Philips tube (A68ESF002 with factory aligned convergence/no magnetic rings)?
