Open Source USB2DB15 for Supergun adapter

I did a quick wiring test: I connected the SPI, power and D9/D10/RST and replaced the arduino's SOT23 5V regulator with a SOT223 3.3V regulator. So far it seems to work. I've tested a Qanba RAP Q3 and it uses ~80mA/5V, which is IMHO good. However the stick works only in X360 mode, in PS3/Qanba...

Open Source USB2DB15 for Supergun adapter

Yeah, thats the reason I'm asking questions here, basically I did a Google search and found conflicting info. Based on your reply I guess that connecting the other I/O lines won't cause problems. I did a quick check with the datasheets of the parts: The USB Host + Arduino Max power consumption...

Open Source USB2DB15 for Supergun adapter

Do you mean the file "USB2DB15-Adapter-schematic.pdf"? In that drawing there are no Arduino-USB Host connections, in fact the USB Host shield is missing.

Open Source USB2DB15 for Supergun adapter

Hello, I want to buid one adapter with a spare arduino board I have; I've looked at the info on Github but I have a few questions that I couldn't find answers, please help me... What pins are needed to connect the USB Host to the Arduino? Just the SPI (MISO/MOSI/CLK) and power ? What about SS...

    CPS-2 deadstock Motherboards

Are these really NOS? If so, why there aren't security seals? And a plain PP bag for storage? I would think Capcom would use at least an antistatic bag.

    Palette address error?

Hello, I have an MV1FZ that seem to work 100% with the normal bios or the free UNIBIOS, however if I boot the Diag Bios I get: PALETTE ADDRESS (A8-A12) error... Why I am not getting any error message with the "normal" BIOS? I also am not seeing any obvious color errors, everything seems normal...

In this thread we tube and yoke swap monitors

I though Videocolor tubes were like the Philips, i.e. pre-set at factory and I thought this was done internally to the tube. But after a quick search it seems it's a single non serviceable ring under a yellow tape. So once you remove that the tube becomes like any other plain tube?

In this thread we tube and yoke swap monitors

Really? But then what about the Videocolor tubes? I think there are photos in that thread. Curvature should be the same, or at least from the photos I saw sometime ago it fits, but mounting need to be "creatively adjusted". Daewoo possibly uses same tube? Other than that Philips tube, the...

In this thread we tube and yoke swap monitors

I found uncletom's experiments a bit confusing... He placed the convergence rings on tubes that don't need them? Anyway I have a different problem: I have a couple of Nanao chassis but I don't have a suitable tube, so I was thinking of maybe using the Philips to test the chassis. Problem is that...

In this thread we tube and yoke swap monitors

If "good authority" is MKL reply on an AO thread, I can counter with an old post/blog from uncletom. He seems to have successfully (?) mated Nanao Yokes with Videocolor/Philips tubes. The tube (a68esf002x111) is from a 50Hz TV set, so not an option.

@nem: Have you ever tried to swap a Nanao yoke on a Philips tube (A68ESF002 with factory aligned convergence/no magnetic rings)?

    MS-2931 Black screen with OSD

Ok thanks. This also happened: Monitor ran less than a couple hours, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't like that before. Should I worry?
