I'm not porting/collecting/repairing/touching bootlegs, sorry.

P.S.: Open to hear about your multis ideas ;)

I know right, who the fuck cares... Bootlegs plz.

Also funny to me that the CPS1 multi is finally becoming a reality, yet the OP is asking for the boot to be ported to the CPS2 multi.
Uh why? So it could lack sound and be a even bigger goddamn mess than it was originally.

Once we have that CPS1 multi, someone will no doubt convert that hunk of shit Rainbow Edition/Redwave or whatever to it.
Where I'd imagine it will run *perfectly for anyone so inclined to enjoy. * = As good as can be expected with a sloppy hackjob.

You wasted time before on bootlegs don't lie! :P
Good old warriors of fate bootleg for real cps1 i think :)

The problem here is you are not getting a full new game just a clone that would take you longer to hack than get board with and pine for the original ver.
Unless it's getting around hardware limitations such as adapted for lower spec. hardware (eg the warriors of fate etc bootlegs) or adding features such as bosses / hidden levels it's not worth messing with bootleg versions.

As for bootleg boards SF2 is prob. the most common, just go for a bootleg with the same layout (check mame driver) and swap your program roms in.
Some bootlegs have the GAL protection but a lot of them are dumped now and GAL dumps are in mame thanks to myself , clawgrip , porchy, twistedtom, caius and others.
Not all been adapted to .jed / tested or sorted out correctly for jammarcade yet one day someone will get around to it.
 
At least you have good taste. m7 is certainly the best bust version of Rainbow Edition.
 
after a lot of searching and with the help of EKORZ , i finally got the rom m5, m7 ( rom hacks from HBMAME, sf2ceda ) that works on an original cps1. my sincere thanks to EKORZ and thank you very much.
