I had a Wei-Ya (Makvision/Billabs ) 3129D chassis in my AWSD that had severe pincushion on the sides and turning the pot on the remote board had no effect. All other controls on the remote board were working correctly. After referencing the schematics and testing against a spare but similar Wei Ya 666a chassis, I was able to see that C76, which is supposed to be a 1uf 50v polar cap, was incorrectly replaced with a 1uf 25v rating from the previous owner. Replaced it and also checked continuity to IC10 right next to it. I noticed there was no continuity so I bridged it and all is working now.
